Tricolour Financial Services (TFS) Private Limited is promoted and registered by Mr Suresh Kumar, as a Non-Banking Financial Institution (NBFI) with the Reserve Bank of India. TFS put together a core management team and 'commenced business' in 2018.

 

TFS focuses on manufacturing and value-added firms in India's SME sector, providing term loans to meet their working capital needs via collateral-free business loans.

 

It is shortly expanding into machinery loans and Loan(s) against Property (LAP) to provide suitable funding for the growth needs of its customers.

Envisaged as an "integrated international value proposition”, an Alternative Investment Fund(AIF) and to be managed by Values Alternative Investments International Private Limited (VAII) is awaiting launch by related entities; with SEBI approval-with the intent to  provide private equity support to worthy mid-sized enterprises meeting the criteria in terms of potential, scale, and quality.

Thereafter, it is planned to assist the investee companies of the AIF with seed- funding and other enablers to also operate in overseas countries; either for, say, "last mile production" or such as other niches as accomplishing respective national strategies for food, pharma and other ‘security' and ensuring disruption- free supply chain synergies .

It is intended to commence with countries with whom the Indian Government has signed up Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement(s) (CEPA); such as with the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Tricolour Values Investments PSC (TVIP), which was established in 2018 in Dubai, UAE, would act as a Sponsor of the AIF and facilitate the Fund in executing its strategies overseas.

TFS and all related entities within the Tricolour Values Group will function cohesively and with robust risk management practices, a meticulous compliance culture and on an arms' length basis, thus synergising and enhancing stake holders’ value consistently.

Mr. Suresh Kumar

Chairman

Mr. Suresh Kumar is the Founder-Chairman of this Company with over 45 years of senior management and governance roles in international banking and financial services institutions. He was the CEO & ExCo Member in the Emirates Bank / Emirates NBD Group (1985 – 2012) He was Member & Later Chairman of the Board of Directors of Federal Bank Ltd (2005-2013), IDBI Federal Life Insurance Co. Ltd (2010-2015), and fedbank Financial Services Ltd (2009 to 2019)..

• He is currently an Independent Director on the Board of Directors of ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Ltd, (2015 to date) and Emirates REIT @ DIFC (2010 to date); in addition to being Chairman of Tricolour Values Investments PSC in the UAE, Values Alternative Investments International Pvt Ltd and Tricolour Financial Services in India (together the Tricolour Values Group)

• He was an Independent Director on the Boards of ICICI Prudential AMC Ltd (2014 to 2020)
• He was the Founder-President and now Chairman of the Indian Business & Professional Council (IBPC) Dubai(2003 to date).
• He was a Founder and Board Member of the Dubai Community Theatre & Art Centre (DUCTAC) (2007 to 2014).
• He continues to be on the Advisory Boards of educational institutions in India and the UAE (Tips Global, S.P. Jain etc).

Mrs. Sethu Suresh Kumar

Director

Mrs. Sethu Suresh Kumar has extensive experience in the fields of banking and education. She joined the State Bank of India as a Probationary Officer in 1975 and spent time in different divisions of the Bank. She then continued her banking experience as a Senior Manager with the Emirates Commercial Bank in Dubai. Thereafter she then moved to the field of education, teaching Chemistry to IB students and was Head of the Science Department at an International Baccalaureate School in Dubai. Later she was the Director of a Montessori nursery school. She is an avid reader and was a moderator for several years at the prestigious Emirates   Literature Festival, held annually in Dubai. Sethu Suresh Kumar has an M.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Delhi.

Mr. C R Rajgopal B.Com, FCA

Director

C R Rajagopal is a Chartered Accountant by profession having a vast experience of more than 35 years. His professional career includes being the head of Finance and Accounts of a leading listed Textile company and later as a Partner in a leading Professional Services Firm for 22 years retired. As Senior Audit Partner, he has handled leading companies in Textiles, fashion, Automotive component manufacturing, Mining, Agriculture, Plantations and Retail Industries. His core areas of expertise are finance, private equity, mergers, acquisitions and reorganisations. He specializes and is highly adept in the formulation of strategy, governance management, risk mitigation, and financial and corporate restructuring. He is passionate about the development and growth of family-owned businesses and has advised and mentored more than 15 enterprises, which are now recognised players with a global presence.
